Development currently centers around agriculture and is very slowly venturing into rural tourism and adventure recreation, mainly in the mountain areas of to the villages of Cedral , Palmital and Zapotal at 1500mts. above sea level. The area offers sweeping views of the Gulf of Nicoya and nature is overwhelming.
Access is very good and you will find all basic services in Miramar center: clinic, internet café, fruit and vegetable market, gas station…..
